Said Hamdan, MS, ATC, is a nationally respected NATA Certified Athletic Trainer with 35 years of experience at all levels. He served as Head Athletic Trainer and Director of Graduate Sports Medicine Studies at Long Island University from 1986-1997, and as Assistant Athletic Trainer for the New York Knicks between1997 and 2004. His career as an Athletic Trainer has included work at the 1994 Soccer World Cup, The United States Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, and as a speaker at various professional sports medicine conferences. Prior to founding Hamdan Athletic Performance, Said served as Medical Coordinator for Referee Operations at the National Basketball Association from 2005-2021 and most recently was named Head Athletic Trainer for the 2021 Big East Men's Basketball tournament at Madison Square Garden.
